Meteora
Meteora is the fourth and final volume of the tetralogy by Cristos S. Romanos. The title owes its name to a visit of the author to Meteora in Greece. As with the previous volumes, the author kept the basic structure of the book which is divided in two parts. The first, which the author names “with the poetry” consists of 15 artworks that were made specifically to accompany the collection of poems. The second and largest of the two parts, titled “poetry” contains 78 poems. Both the poems and the artwork strive to reach an essence of things through a stripping away of all that is not necessary.
