Skylight Mansions
A brochure for another of Nice Day Developments’ project. The project consists of 9 residences. Unlike many generic developments that offer one design that is repeated in all plots, Nice Day and the architects took a different approach. Through a complex typological study the project offers four different types and four different sub-types. This, in combination with the nine plots, gives a large number of permutations for each residence, which will eventually give a complex character to the project. Developed on the outskirts of Nicosia, in close proximity to the University of Cyprus and the Athalassa National Forest Park the residences take advantages of living in nature. The brochure starts with an extensive introduction of the thought process of the architects that led to the final design scheme. It then, elaborates on each type and sub-type, presenting each through 3-D renderings, plans, elevations and sections.
