Touch Me Not
The volume has been published by the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus to accompany an exhibition of modern art held in two byzantine churches ιn the village of Pelendri in the district of Limassol. The publication starts with an introductory essay by the curator of the exhibition and editor of the volume Nadia Anaxagorou and is followed by a section consisting of the works photographed, by Nicos Louca, in situ. Despite the logistical problems, it was important for the curator to present the works in this way in order to highlight her thinking of the relationship between contemporary art and the byzantine iconography of Cyprus.
